Biotin Labelling Kit
The BioTeZ Biotinylation Kit contains the reagents for the labeling of antibodies and other proteins and the purification of the biotinylated product.
The coupling reaction takes place at primary amino groups on the target molecule using a N-Hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester-activated biotin, which form stable amide bonds. Proteins generally have a sufficient number of amino groups for coupling, both N-terminal and lysine residues. In this kit, Sulfo-NHS-LC Biotin (sulfosuccinimidyl-6-[biotin-amido] hexanoate) is used, that contains a spacer group with 6 carbon atoms and a length of 22,4 Å to increase the distance between the target molecule and the biotin groups.
Polystrept R combines the excellent binding capacity with a high chemo and thermo stability.Additional pre-coating serves to improve the outcome and especially for very inert surfaces to ensure high quality coatings with Polystreptavidin R.
Polystreptavidin R provides product consistency and helps to reduce variability in diagnostic assays. BioTeZ starts the project for the development of a companion diagnostic procedure. The aim is to determine the optimal drug dose for each patient to reduce side effects, to achieve the Therapeutic Window and to increase the effectiveness of the active ingredients by optimizing the dosage (Therapeutic Drug Monitoring). The project is being funded on behalf of the State of Berlin through the Program for the Promotion of Research, Innovations and Technologies (Pro FIT) and partially funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
